Joanna Holleran, DC

Originally from Chester Springs, PA, Dr. Joanna Holleran attended the University of Pittsburgh where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Emergency Medicine. In undergrad, she also became a licensed paramedic in the state of Pennsylvania. This work gave her the opportunity to gain invaluable experience treating patients and developing clinical skills. It was Dr. Holleran’s experience as a paramedic that ultimately inspired her to pursue a career in healthcare that was more conservative and encouraged her patients to live active, healthy lifestyles.

Dr. Holleran then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California and obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic. Throughout her time at Palmer West, Dr. Holleran was heavily involved in the Sports Council, an organization that specializes in chiropractic treatment of athletes. She soon became President of the Sports Council and continued to support the mission of providing quality chiropractic care to all sorts of professional and amateur athletes in the community including tri-athletes, cyclists, rugby players, runners, and many more. Dr. Holleran enjoys treating athletes, as well as prenatal and postpartum women.

Dr. Holleran grew up as an athlete, having played volleyball, lacrosse, and basketball. She continues to try to stay active through weight training, rec league volleyball, hiking, and snowboarding. Dr. Holleran loves dogs and would love it if you brought your dog to say hello at the clinic. She also enjoys traveling and hopes to visit Copenhagen or Japan next! Dr. Holleran aspires to have a beautiful vegetable garden at home one day, but for now is content just trying to keep the plants in the clinic alive.

Ilan Green, DC

Dr. Ilan Green is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. He grew up playing various sports including football, baseball, and basketball and experienced his fair share of injuries. His mother, Dr. Jennifer Green, is also a Doctor of Chiropractic who is currently practicing in Santa Rosa, CA. As a result, Ilan was fortunate enough to experience the benefits of Chiropractic care for the majority of his life while frequently finding himself on his mother’s table being treated following rough games.

His love of sports and his exposure to a hands-on approach toward healthcare encouraged him to seek out a career where he could help others who share the love of movement. When looking into fields of study for his undergraduate degree he found Kinesiology, which focuses on the science of human movement. Ilan then went on to obtain his BS in Kinesiology from California State University Northridge in Los Angeles, CA.

Shortly after graduating he became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association before working on the Strength and Conditioning staff for Los Angeles Pierce College.

Ilan then made the decision to continue in his educational journey by attending Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, CA where he obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. While at Palmer he gained experience treating patients in the campus outpatient clinic while spending his free time volunteering with the Sports Council treating both amateur and professional athletes at sporting events all around the Bay Area.

Dr. Ilan enjoys treating athletes of all levels of competition (recreational to professional), weightlifters, CrossFitters, endurance athletes and weekend warriors. He aspires to one day complete a triathlon, but admittedly needs to learn to swim much (much) better. Above all he enjoys seeing his patients achieve their own goals and aspirations.
