Episode #9: Victoria Clement, DPT

In this episode Dr. Joanna Holleran sits down with Dr. Victoria Clement, DPT to discuss her experience working as a Pelvic Floor Therapist.

Dr. Victoria helps to demystify the world of pelvic therapy by explaining what pelvic therapy is and is not, the kinds of “unconventional” conditions that pelvic therapy can help with, and how she’s making an effort to make the conversation less taboo when talking about pelvic health for both men and women.

Drs. Joanna & Victoria discuss the wide range of conditions that pelvic therapy can help with including urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, pudendal neuralgia, endometriosis, diastasis recti, prolapse, and the role it plays for prenatal and postpartum women.

In addition, she provides information on how the pelvic floor plays a large role in more common musculoskeletal conditions including lower back and hip pain.

We recognize that Pelvic Floor Therapy is massively underutilized, so whether you’re a health/wellness professional or someone seeking information about the topic we hope that this proves to be a helpful resource for you.
